A4: Coach Carrying 50 People Leaves the Road. Children Taken to Hotel by PKS Bus

In the morning, firefighters informed the Bolesławiec County governor, Tomasz Gabrysiak. The head of the Bolesławiec County Board ordered a PKS bus, belonging to the county-owned company, to take the children to one of the hotels along the motorway.

Bolesławiec police on the incident:

The bus driver (resident of Radom) failed to exercise due caution, drove onto the shoulder and got stuck in wet ground. No one was injured. He was given a caution.

The incident occurred overnight from February 29 to March 1. Firefighters from Różyniec:

5:36 a.m. – dispatched to an accident on the A4, at kilometer 54, [km] in the direction of Zgorzelec.

They added: – Upon arriving at the scene, it turned out that a bus carrying 50 people had left the road.

Fortunately, no one was injured. The police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
