The former footbridge over the Bóbr between Rakowice and Zabobrze Street is being vandalised from the Rakowice side.
They added that it was the work of scrap-metal thieves. They also stressed that they had already reported the matter to the police.
The officers did indeed intervene in the matter, but the thieves have not been arrested so far.
We also asked the Bolesławiec municipal authorities what would happen to the footbridge. (At one time, there was a plan to reconstruct the said structure.) We are awaiting a response.
