– On January 26, 2024, at around 5:40 p.m., while off duty and shopping in one of Jelenia Góra’s discount grocery stores, the officer noticed a man who took chemical products and then, without paying for them, took advantage of the opportunity and left through the door intended for customers entering the store – reports Assistant Superintendent Edyta Bagrowska, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra.

And she adds: – The police officer immediately went after him. He stopped him immediately after he left the discount store, but the man struggled, kicked and tried to break free in order to avoid the consequences.

The suspect turned out to be a 25-year-old from Karkonosze County. He tried to steal goods worth more than PLN 500. The man has already been charged. He faces up to 10 years in prison. Police officers:
