Once again, after an accident on the motorway, Bolesławiec is gridlocked. The incident occurred on Friday, January 26, after 9:00 a.m., on the A18 motorway (at kilometre 62 in the direction of Wrocław).
The A18 towards Wrocław is blocked. Police officers are working at the scene to clear the left lane and restore traffic on this section of the A18 as quickly as possible. A detour leads to Osiecznica and Bolesławiec; at Golnice, drivers can enter the A18.
The traffic jam at the entrance to Bolesławiec from the Osiecznica side (DW 350) already stretches as far as Dobra. There is also a traffic jam at the entrance to Bolesławiec from the Zgorzelec side (DK 94). There, the queue of cars reaches the area of Restauracja Ha-Noi.
In Bolesławiec, traffic jams are forming on the bypass and on the roads in its vicinity.
According to the Bolesławiec police, the left lane of the A18 has now been reopened. The entire motorway is expected to be cleared within an hour.

Traffic on the A18 has been restored.
