The situation occurred on Thursday, January 25, in the car park in front of Forum cinema in Bolesławiec. The driver of a red Renault first ignored and crossed the solid line while entering the car park, then, looking for a free parking space, crossed the solid line a second time and drove “against the flow of traffic,” contrary to the road markings.

This is not the first such situation. There are more drivers using this car park contrary to the designated direction of travel. It is enough to observe the car park for a while. Perhaps this behavior is partly the result of “hunting” for a parking space, which is not easy to find.

Here is an excerpt from the reader’s account:

A situation from the car park in front of our cinema. The road markings—lines and arrows in the car park—indicate how to move around: after entering, we can choose to turn into the left or right section of the car park, and then there is a solid line (...).

An older man was behind the wheel and totally ignored the traffic organization. I wonder what opinions there will be this time. Should such behavior be condemned, or are such practices allowed simply according to the principle that whoever gets there first parks first? (...).

We also received video footage from the reader showing the situation:
