Update 11:08
PKP PLK:
The services working to repair the damaged network at Wrocław Główny station initially estimate that the work will continue until the afternoon. Until then, changes to train services are in effect. Traffic controllers are operating trains in a way that minimizes changes to the timetables.
As Karol Jakubowski, press spokesperson for PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., reports:
At 8:45, technical services at Wrocław Główny station identified damage to the overhead line. The incident is affecting train traffic in the Wrocław Railway Junction. Trains are passing through Wrocław Główny station. The biggest timetable changes concern trains departing for and arriving from the directions of Poznań, Głogów and Legnica. A special train is working at the site of the network damage.
He adds: – Information about changes to train services is provided at stations and stops and on the passenger portal website.
KD, in turn, report:
There is no power in the network at Wrocław Główny station. Trains will experience significant delays. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The situation can be monitored on an ongoing basis via the Koleje Dolnośląskie website.
