The Bolesławiec police, who received several reports today concerning attempted fraud, are appealing for increased vigilance.

Our KPP:

A large number of reports have been recorded concerning a man posing as a police officer who is attempting to lure people away from their homes by claiming that they failed to appear in response to a summons from the Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.

We regularly inform you on this website about the activities of fraudsters, whose victims are often older people. The police once again remind everyone of the four rules for senior safety:

  1. Never hand money to a stranger.
  2. Never call numbers provided by the person you are speaking with.
  3. Call your loved ones and ask whether they actually need help.
  4. Immediately notify the police about any attempted fraud.

And they appeal:

Bolesławiec residents, stay alert and don’t let yourselves be scammed!!!
