Bolesławiec Criminal Division officers determined that a wanted man was in one of the apartments in the town.
During a search of the premises, the man first tried to hide and then attempted to escape. Police officers detained the 25-year-old.
The man was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for an assault that caused the victim serious bodily injury.
