The incident occurred on Thursday, January 11, before noon. In the village of Mojesz (provincial road 297), an Opel car overturned.

Initial findings indicate that the elderly man driving the Opel, which had registration plates from Bolesławiec, lost control of the car at some point. The vehicle left the road, rolled down an embankment and overturned, coming to a stop on a bicycle path.
The car stopped just before the stream flowing nearby. The driver got out of the vehicle unaided. A passing driver was the first to provide him with assistance. A medical rescue team and the police were at the scene.
