At around 12:00, someone (judging by the voice, it was a young person) called Municipal Middle School No. 3 in Bolesławiec and said that a bomb had been placed in one of the school lockers. At 12:15, the evacuation of the school’s students was ordered.
“Evacuation is a serious matter. People with disabilities also attend the middle school. It could also have caused panic among the students. Fortunately, the operation proceeded very smoothly,” says Ludmiła Rutka, headmistress of GS No. 3.
No explosive device was found. Before 13:00, the children returned to their lessons.
This was the second such incident in the school’s history.
