The project entitled “Modernization of the circular running track surface at the Complex of General and Vocational Schools in Bolesławiec” has been completed. Thanks to the work carried out, the track has gained a renovated surface, improving comfort and conditions for using the sports facility.

The work included pressure washing the existing synthetic surface, filling gaps and applying a bonding layer between the existing SBR layer and the new wearing layer. A polyurethane system surface with EPDM granulate was then mechanically applied in a brick-red colour. The track was also marked with lines and other necessary markings. In addition, three bicycle racks were installed.
The total value of the project was PLN 318,078.00 gross. The investment received PLN 190,846.80 gross in funding from the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship under the “Development of Sports Infrastructure in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in 2026” programme. The remaining amount, PLN 127,231.20 gross, came from Bolesławiec County funds.
The modernization of the running track is another step toward improving sports infrastructure in Bolesławiec County. The renovated facility will provide better conditions for sport and physical activity, serving both students and other people using sports infrastructure in Bolesławiec.
