On Thursday, December 7, the Lwówek Śląski Medical Rescue Team, part of the Jelenia Góra Emergency Medical Service, went to a patient who lives in Lwówek County.
As the Jelenia Góra emergency service reports:
The crew, consisting of Ewa (a nurse) and Zbyszek (a paramedic), went to the pregnant patient. After examining her, our medics decided to transport the expectant mother to hospital. During the journey, it turned out that the boy in his mother’s womb no longer wanted to spend any more time there and, after brief negotiations, he was born aboard the ambulance at 10:05 p.m. We wish both the newborn boy and his brave mother all the best.
As it turns out, this was not the first birth in Lwówek County to be attended in an ambulance. As the lwowecki.info website reports:
