In connection with questions arising concerning the situation on the Bóbr River, Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji Dolina Bobru sp. z o.o. in Bolesławiec assures that the current events have no impact on the quality of water supplied to consumers. The water-supply system relies exclusively on safe deep-water intakes and does not use surface water from the Bóbr River.
Water quality is monitored on an ongoing basis. The results of the tests conducted so far do not indicate any deterioration in the quality of the abstracted water. Additionally, in view of the current situation, the Company has prophylactically increased the frequency and scope of water quality testing at all intakes.
Quality control is conducted in parallel by the accredited laboratory of PWiK Dolina Bobru sp. z o.o. and the State Sanitary Inspection, ensuring constant and independent supervision of the safety of water supplied to residents.
PWiK Dolina Bobru sp. z o.o. will keep residents informed on an ongoing basis about all significant circumstances concerning the safety and quality of the supplied water.
