The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 21. Around noon, police officers detained a driver who, with nearly 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system, hit two vehicles, a sign and a low wall. Earlier, witnesses had blocked the 37-year-old, preventing him from driving away. When the driver stopped, one person prevented him from leaving the vehicle, another blocked his way out, and a third called the emergency number. The resident of Bolesławiec was detained, lost his driving licence and was charged.

Police checked the 37-year-old’s sobriety. The man had nearly 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. He caused several incidents while driving. His driving licence was confiscated and he was charged with driving while intoxicated, for which he faces up to two years in prison.
