Bolesławiec Police: – The arrest took place in a rural area, so the 22-year-old was charged at the Police Station in Kruszyn.
How did this happen? Officers: – Having a good understanding of the area, the community police officer checked whether the ban had been broken only once. He established that the man worked at a facility located more than 15 kilometres from his home.

Despite having been banned from driving since June this year, under a ruling issued by a Wrocław court, the 22-year-old regularly drove his car to work. (Previously, traffic police had stopped him while he was driving intoxicated and using a false document.)
The suspect was charged with 42 offences, all concerning breaches of the court ban, committed between 26 September and 31 October.
Breaking a court ban or using a false document is punishable by up to five years in prison. Driving while intoxicated carries a sentence of up to two years in prison.
