Criminal investigators from Police Station II in Jelenia Góra detained a 36-year-old man suspected of damaging property. – The incident occurred on November 8, 2023, in Jelenia Góra. The man hit and kicked the victim’s car, claiming that he did so because he was upset and was not in the mood – explains Aspirant Beata Sosulska-Baran from the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police Headquarters. – Through his actions, the vandal caused losses amounting to nearly PLN 6,000.
The owner of the Volkswagen Polo notified the police about the entire incident. Based on the information collected and an analysis of surveillance-camera footage, officers identified and then detained a 36-year-old resident of Karkonosze County. He confessed.
The vandal now faces up to five years in prison.
