The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon. – Shortly after 5:30 p.m., the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Polkowice was notified of a road incident that occurred on the asphalt road between Kłobuczyn and Gaworzyce – reports aspirant Przemysław Rybikowski, press officer of the local District Police Headquarters. – The officers who arrived at the scene determined that an unidentified two-wheeler rider had hit a pedestrian and then fled the scene of the accident.

Unfortunately, despite resuscitation efforts, the injured 64-year-old died.

Spokesperson: – At the scene, police officers carried out the necessary procedural activities with the participation of a road-traffic expert and under the supervision of a prosecutor from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Głogów. The collected evidence is currently being analyzed, while officers are clarifying all the circumstances and causes of the accident.
