The incident occurred during the night of October 21–22. As a reader wrote:
Congratulations to the young women who, during the night of October 21–22, detained a drunk Ukrainian woman who first crashed into the roundabout on Zgorzelecka Street and then, when people tried to help, started the car and attempted to flee, but was detained.
Bolesławiec police confirm that after hitting the roundabout embankment, the driver “left the scene and wanted to abandon the car at a petrol station,” but the aforementioned young women prevented her from doing so.
The 37-year-old woman, who lives in Bolesławiec, was detained. Her blood was taken for testing.
Let us recall that driving under the influence carries a penalty of up to two years in prison.
