Bolesławiec police: – Mushroom pickers often forget about safety rules and, when entering the forest, focus solely on picking mushrooms. Unfortunately, in many cases this ends with an involuntary, prolonged communion with nature, because mushroom pickers lose their sense of direction.
That was also the case in recent days. Our County Police Headquarters: – Police officers from the station in Kruszyn took action twice. First, a resident of Lwówek County who had come with friends got lost in a forested area in Gromadka Municipality, but unfortunately became separated from the group. The 55-year-old did not have a phone with him, making it difficult to locate him.
Meanwhile, on October 12, two residents of Świdnica County lost their way back in a forest in Bolesławiec Municipality. The uniformed officers: – Fortunately, they had a phone and provided the numbers on a boundary post, which greatly accelerated the possibility of providing assistance.
The police officers helped the mushroom pickers reach the parking lot from which they had begun their forest hike.
