Voters, be careful when you vote. One of the candidates listed first on one of the lists has withdrawn.

Members of the electoral commission inform voters when issuing ballots which candidate has withdrawn.

This concerns Robert RACZYŃSKI, a former candidate for the Sejm in electoral district no. 1 in the elections to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.

Details in the announcement of the District Electoral Commission in Legnica.

The National Electoral Commission explains:

A vote is considered valid when the voter places an “x”:

  1. only next to the name of the deleted candidate. Such a vote is treated as cast for the list without indicating preference for obtaining a mandate;
  2. next to the name of the deleted candidate and next to the name of another candidate from the same list. Such a vote is treated as cast for the candidate who has not been deleted;
  3. next to the name of a candidate deleted from one list and next to the name of a candidate from another
    (but only one) list. Such a vote is treated as cast for the candidate who has not been deleted from that other list.
