Once again, officers of the Detention Center in Jelenia Góra prevented a prohibited substance from entering the facility. – During the inspection and censorship of correspondence addressed to one of the convicts serving a sentence at the Jelenia Góra detention center, correspondence was discovered in which the sheets of paper had been soaked with a psychoactive substance – informs Senior Private First Class Urszula Marciniak, spokesperson for the aforementioned facility.

She adds: – A test conducted by Police officers revealed the presence of narcotic substances in the correspondence.

Let us recall that Prison Service officers continually improve their qualifications in preventing intoxicating substances and psychotropic substances from entering facilities. Thanks to systematic training, the availability of the latest equipment and tests for detecting intoxicating substances, which make it possible to establish almost immediately what type of substance is involved, the activities carried out are producing results.
