The 16th Jurajskie Aircraft Competition named after Piotr Sikorski, in which 13 crews took part, was held from 5–7 October at Rudniki Airport of the Częstochowa Aeroclub. Bolesławiec native Szymon Kut, a representative of the Częstochowa Aeroclub:
I am delighted to share our success with you at the 16th Jurajskie Aircraft Competition named after Piotr Sikorski!
It was a weekend full of excitement, flights and adrenaline. Everything began with a single training flight, which helped me adjust to the conditions. Then it was time for two competition flights.
And he adds:
The first day of the competition proved extremely successful—we took 1st place, which was incredible! The second day was also full of challenges, but we managed to take 2nd place, which, after taking the overall standings into account, was enough for my navigator Natalia Sikorzyńska, who is also my beloved and celebrated her birthday during the competition, and me to win gold!
And he sums up:
Thank you to everyone who supported me and cheered me on. It was an unforgettable weekend that will certainly remain in my memory for a long time. Now it is time for further training and preparations for the next flights!
