Eryk Sługocki took part in the Polish Independence Bench Press Championships, held on November 11 in Złotoryja. – Eryk represented us in the 14–16 age category, achieving an impressive fourth place among 12 competitors – reports istotne.pl, already known to our Readers, Szymon Kut, the athlete’s coach.
And he adds:
During the competition, Eryk took on a difficult challenge, competing against peers in an older age group. It is worth noting that Eryk was only 14 years old at the time of the competition, making his achievement even more noteworthy. Competing against participants two years older confirms not only his determination, but also his strength, skills and talent.
Eryk’s results:
- first attempt: 100 kg,
- second attempt: 107.5 kg,
- third attempt: 110 kg (unfortunately unsuccessful).
