Legnica criminal investigators established the whereabouts of a 41-year-old man wanted to serve a six-month prison sentence. – Last weekend, around midday, the officers decided to “pay him a visit” and arrest him – reports junior inspector Przemysław Ratajczyk, press officer of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.
He adds: – The man was completely surprised by their visit. During the search of the arrested man, the police already found several sale portions of a crystallized white substance and three rounds of ammunition on him.
Moreover, in the utility rooms and at the man’s place of residence, officers found two firearms and ammunition for which the 41-year-old did not have the required permit. They also seized more than 0.5 kg of methamphetamine, more than 1.5 kg of marijuana and nearly one thousand pseudoephedrine-containing tablets, as well as cash – more than PLN 100,000.
The court remanded the 41-year-old in temporary custody for three months. The man faces up to 12 years in prison.
