On Saturday, 25 September, a match between GKS Warta Bolesławiecka and Victoria Ruszów was held in Warta Bolesławiecka. From the referee’s first whistle, the competition between the teams was evident. Most of the play took place in midfield. The first goal had to wait until the 21st minute. Following a cross from Łukasz Hencel, Krzysztof Janowski headed the ball in to make it 1:0 for Warta. Seven minutes later, after the visiting goalkeeper’s poor clearance, Janowski scored again. In the 38th minute, the visitors put the ball in the net, but the referee spotted an offside and disallowed the goal. The referee’s decision caused discontent among the Ruszów players. Two Victoria players were shown yellow cards. Ultimately, one visiting player had to leave the pitch. At the end of the first half, Krzysztof Janowski scored Warta’s third goal.

At the start of the second half, the visitors took the initiative on the pitch, but their attacks were effectively broken up by the GKS defenders. In the 63rd minute, the reliable Krzysztof Janowski took advantage of Marek Spychalski’s pass to make it 4:0. After scoring the fourth goal, complacency crept into the GKS ranks. The visitors took advantage and scored twice within 20 minutes. In the 85th minute, Marcin Kobeluszczyk could have extended Warta’s lead. However, the player failed to convert a one-on-one chance against the goalkeeper. Two minutes later, the referee awarded a penalty for a handball by a GKS defender inside the penalty area. The visitors converted the spot kick, setting the final score. After their 4:3 victory over Victoria Ruszów, GKS Warta occupies a high third place in the regional league table.
