– Police officers from the District Police Headquarters in Lubań—acting on information they had received—entered one of the apartments in Lubań – reports junior aspirant Tomasz Nowak from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – The officers’ findings indicated that the 47-year-old man living at this address might possess drugs.
The officers’ suspicions were confirmed. In a locked metal box, police found a bag containing a white crystalline substance. The spokesperson said: – The man tried to convince the officers that it was a foot preparation, but the officers were not misled by his explanation.
A drug test showed that the purported foot preparation was methamphetamine. Junior aspirant T. Nowak:
The amount of drug discovered could have yielded approximately 197 doses. Marijuana was also secured in the detainee’s apartment. The resident of Lubań County has already been charged with possessing a significant quantity of narcotic drugs. The prosecutor ordered that he be placed under police supervision and banned from leaving the country.
The 47-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
