On 22 September, the ceremonial 2022/2023 Bolesławiec Municipality Head’s Scholarship Gala was held at the Folk House in Bożejowice. The honored students attended together with their parents, as did school principals and representatives of the Bolesławiec Municipality authorities.

The bar was set very high, as in addition to achieving a high average in compulsory educational subjects in their final-year classification and demonstrating a very good attitude in school life, the young people had to show success in olympiads, competitions, contests and tournaments at least at the county level. The Bolesławiec Municipality Head’s Scholarships were awarded to 45 students in two categories:
- for academic achievements:
students in grades IV–VI – 17 scholarship recipients,
students in grades VII–VIII – 18 scholarship recipients;- for sporting achievements – 10 scholarship recipients.
And he explains:
The students received a scholarship in the form of a one-time cash award, a commemorative statuette and a certificate, while their parents received a letter of congratulations. For academic achievements, students in grades IV–VI had to earn at least 120 points, while students in grades VII–VIII had to earn at least 100 points, in accordance with the Regulations for Awarding Scholarships to Primary School Students established by a resolution of the Bolesławiec Municipality Council dated 4 November 2020. Scholarships for academic achievements ranged from 800 to 2,500 zlotys, while those for sporting achievements ranged from 550 to 900 zlotys.
In the 2022/2023 school year, two students achieved the highest honors among the scholarship recipients. They are:
- Gabriella Kominiak – an eighth-grade student at Primary School No. 4 in Bolesławiec, who achieved a final-year average in compulsory educational subjects of 5.76 and a percentage score of 95.7% across all parts of the eighth-grader exam; she was also a laureate of competitions at the county and national levels and, in accordance with the regulations, earned 360 points;
- Natalia Pawlus – an eighth-grade student at Primary School in Kruszyn, who achieved a final-year average in compulsory educational subjects of 6.0 and a percentage score of 88.0% across all parts of the eighth-grader exam; she was also a competition laureate and, in accordance with the regulations, earned 270 points.

Deputy Municipality Head Roman Jaworski extended heartfelt thanks to the principals and teachers of urban and municipal schools, whose ability to inspire children to adopt an active and creative attitude conducive to the full development of their interests and talents resulted in so many successes. The artistic program for the ceremony was prepared by director Dariusz Kunaszko, teachers, parents and students of the School and Preschool Complex in Kruszyn.
