A ceremony summarizing projects funded by the National Institute of Polish Cultural Heritage Abroad “Polonika” and carried out in Lithuania and Moldova by members of the Bolesławiec branch of the Society of Friends of Lviv and the Southeastern Borderlands was held on Friday, September 22, in the conference room of the Bolesławiec Cultural Center – International Ceramics Center.
During the meeting, the head of the Bolesławiec organization, Barbara Smoleńska, honored the project participants and thanked those who take special care to ensure that the Society can “promote and preserve the historical heritage of the Borderlands, an integral part of the culture and traditions of the Republic of Poland”: Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman and County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Bolesławiec announced that the local government would continue to help the organization. He added that it “recommends itself for the future.”
