As reported by the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters: – For many people, hiding from justice is a way to avoid the consequences of conflicts with the law.

Recently, seven wanted people were detained by officers in Bolesławiec County:

  • In the town, police detained a 17-year-old girl wanted by the District Court in Wałbrzych. The teenager was first taken to the Police Juvenile Shelter and will then, by court decision, be placed in the Regional Educational Centre in Koszalin.
  • Officers from Kruszyn detained in Gromadka municipality a 28-year-old resident of Legnica County, who was wanted by the Lubin prosecutor’s office and police officers from Chojnów.
  • In Bolesławiec municipality, they detained a 30-year-old woman who has a one-year prison sentence to serve for burglaries.
  • The other wanted people are residents of Bolesławiec County: two burglars. The 65-year-old has six months in prison to serve, while the 39-year-old will spend the next 16 months in a correctional facility.
  • A 40-year-old man from Bolesławiec municipality also has a sentence to serve: nine months in prison for driving while intoxicated. Also detained was a 36-year-old man sentenced to six months for harassing a woman.
