11 September 2023 , at 11:00 a.m., the construction site at Ekonomiczna Street in Bolesławiec was ceremonially handed over for the project “Construction of the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service with a Rescue and Firefighting Unit in Bolesławiec – construction of the shell-and-core stage in 2023–2025”.
Officers from the KP PSP explain:
The event followed the signing, on 5 September 2023, of an agreement with the project contractor, Terlan Sp. z o.o. of Poznań, which was selected through a public procurement procedure on 1 August 2023 conducted by KP PSP in Bolesławiec.
The following attended the ceremony:
- st. bryg. Arkadiusz Cytawa – deputy Lower Silesian provincial commander of the State Fire Service, together with mł. bryg. Tomasz Mieszała, head of the Technical Department;
- st. bryg. Andrzej Śliwowski – county commander, together with firefighters from KP PSP in Bolesławiec;
- Tomasz Starzak – vice-president of the management board, together with the site manager and construction manager representing the contractor, Terlan;
- Krzysztof Struczyk – investor supervision inspector.
The Bolesławiec firefighters add:
This symbolically marked the start of the first stage of construction of a facility that is important for the safety of residents of Bolesławiec County. The value of the investment covered by the signed agreement is PLN 11,439,000, and the implementation period is up to 600 days, with completion planned for the first quarter of 2025.

The investment is financed from the state budget as part of the Modernisation Programme for the Police, Border Guard, State Fire Service and State Protection Service for 2022–2025.
