Aleksandra Robaszkiewicz from Lidl Polska:

(…) the paid parking zone in the car park at our store in Bolesławiec was suspended on 30 August this year for two months, until the end of October 2023. This means that parking meters will not issue tickets during the aforementioned period.

And she explains:

The decision to temporarily suspend the paid parking zone is a test (emphasis – istotne.pl) and will allow us to assess whether there is still a need to use such a solution. For the next two months, we will monitor the availability of parking spaces, and the observations collected during this time will allow us to decide whether it is justified to continue operating the ticketing system. Our goal is to provide motorised customers with parking spaces next to the store while they shop.

Let us recall. Recently, we reported that a Reader sent us photographs taken on 1 September at the Bolesławiec store of the Lidl chain.

And asked: – Has Lidl stopped issuing tickets?
