On Saturday, 2 September, the voivodeship competition “The Most Beautiful Harvest Festival Wreath” was held, in which the Ocice Village Council, representing Bolesławiec County, took second place!

The competition was held in picturesque Szczepanów, where representatives of counties from Lower Silesia gathered to present their beautifully decorated harvest festival wreaths. Their work proved truly impressive, which was recognized by the competition jury.
And they add: – The wreath-making group from Ocice, which worked on this magnificent wreath, spent many hours creating such an intricate, extraordinary and creative work. Their effort and commitment earned them a well-deserved place on the podium. This is proof that local culture and traditions are alive and still valued in our community.
