– At midnight, on Legnicka Street in Chojnów, officers from the Chojnów Police Station conducted a breathalyzer test on the driver of a Mercedes – reports Commissioner Jagoda Ekiert, press officer of the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters.

The driver had two per mille of alcohol in her breath. But that was not the end of the matter. The spokesperson said: – After checking the 23-year-old in the police systems, it emerged that the woman was not licensed to drive.

She added: – The resident of Chojnów admitted to officers that she was in the process of taking a driving course. It also turned out that the vehicle she was driving did not have a valid third-party liability insurance policy.

The 23-year-old could now face up to two years in prison.
