On August 26 and 27, the 11th Summer Piast Run took place, organized entirely at the Dolnośląskie Centrum Sportu for the first time. The Dolnośląskie Centrum Sportu Polana Jakuszycka was available to runners and accompanying persons. The start and finish lines were located here, along with the race-number distribution office, expo, changing rooms, catering, toilets and showers.
The route ran through beautiful mountain areas: Kozi Grzbiet, Orle, Granicznik, the Izera River, Szklarska Droga and Jagnięcy Jar. The competitors ran through Rozdroże Izerskie, Rozdroże pod Zwaliskiem, Wysoki Kamień, Zakręt Śmierci, Rozdroże pod Cichą Równią, and along two routes known mainly for skiing: Woda Mineralna and Bez Łaski.
For years, the Piast Run has promoted a healthy, active lifestyle. During the race, participants can admire beautiful natural routes, clear their minds, improve their physical fitness and achieve their goals. It is also an opportunity to join an active community of people who love running.
The World Health Organization recommends that adults engage in at least 150 minutes, or 2.5 hours, of sustained, vigorous physical activity per week. Running is one such activity.
At the Dolnośląskie Centrum Sportu, you can recover after intensive exercise in the swimming pool or sauna, or enjoy a massage. Remember that the bistro and restaurant offer delicious coffee and equally good meals. More information about DCS: polanajakuszycka.pl
