One of the items on the agenda of the August meeting of the Bolesławiec City Council was a vote on a draft resolution concerning the designation of a preliminary location for a new public transport stop along county road no. 2319D—S. Staszica Street in Bolesławiec.
The councillors unanimously adopted the resolution. (Eighteen councillors voted in favour).
The justification for the document states:
(...) in order to meet residents’ needs, the municipal council indicates preliminary locations for new public transport stops by means of a resolution. The road manager is obliged to take the indicated locations into account. The final location of the stops is decided by the road manager, taking into consideration the nature of the road and road traffic safety conditions. The designation of a location for a new bus stop along county road no. 2319D—S. Staszica Street results from the need to provide a stop for buses travelling in the opposite direction and serving public collective transport.
