Police officers from Osiecznica received a report that a drunk man was looking after his children. When the patrol arrived at the scene, it turned out that the man had taken the two youngest children with him and driven somewhere.
Officers stopped an Opel for a roadside check. A 34-year-old resident of Osiecznica municipality was transporting children aged 4 and 7. The officers detected the smell of alcohol from the driver. The man had over 3.5 promille of alcohol in his system. He could now face up to five years in prison.
