This year's parade is taking place under the slogan “We live in Europe – Europe is within us” – the European Community Theatre of Bolesławiec. The parade began with a procession of motorcyclists. A long procession followed them.

The parade, accompanied by the Europe Prize statuette (which made it unique), passed through Bolesławiec's market square, then along Sierpnia '80 Street, and ended on Asnyka Street, where the main stage of the ceramic festival is located.

The parade was attended, among others, by the local authorities of the city and Bolesławiec County, councillors, delegations from Bolesławiec's partner cities, delegations from Agate Summer in Lwówek Śląski and the Comedy Film Festival in Lubomierz, representatives of the Ceramic Brotherhood and ceramic factories, members of parliament from the region, including MP Zofia Czernow and MP Piotr Borys, Polish and American soldiers, delegations from schools, kindergartens, workplaces and other institutions and associations, as well as football players from BKS Bolesławiec, Football Academy and KS Kolonia Bolesławiec.

On the main stage, in the presence of city authorities, ceramic artists and invited guests, the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival was officially opened and the keys to the city were handed over to the ceramic artists. It was also an opportunity to celebrate the fact that Bolesławiec had received the Europe Prize.
