Storm over the county. Fallen trees, flooded streets, power line down

After 4:00 p.m., a hailstorm passed over Bolesławiec County. Near Kraszowice, a high-voltage power line was brought down, and traffic on the road from Otok to Kraszowice was halted. The power emergency service will handle the outage.

The situation in Bolesławiec itself is not too bad. Some streets were flooded (including Gdańska, Willowa, Spokojna and Staroszkolna streets, as well as the parking lot near the former Tesco). Firefighters are removing fallen trees and branches from the roads. A tree fell onto a fence and the road, among other places, on Ślusarska Street in Bolesławiec. Another tree was broken by the wind in the park next to the District Court in Bolesławiec. Firefighters are also removing trees from roads in the Gmina Gromadka.

Although the sky over Bolesławiec has already brightened and the temperature has fallen to 24 degrees, another storm may occur. Further storms are forming locally in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, as well as over Germany and the Czech Republic, accompanied by heavy rain and hail.
