– We are preparing for the campaign. I will work to provide better support for healthcare in our region. I definitely will not leave the hospital in Bolesławiec. I will be a non-professional senator – Kamil Barczyk tells istotne.pl Kamil Barczyk.

The director of the Bolesławiec hospital will run from the list of Bezpartyjni Samorządowcy. He has a good chance, as his opponents will be: Rafał Ślusarz from PiS, who is rarely present in Bolesławiec, and the candidate of the Senate Pact, Waldemar Witkowski, completely unknown in Lower Silesia, a 70-year-old from Poznań, a former member of the PZPR and now head of Unia Pracy.

Kamil Barczyk is 34 years old. Since June 25, 2019, he has been the director of the Bolesławiec district hospital, currently St. Luke’s Hospital. He was one of four candidates for the position. The competition committee was convinced by, among other things, his “extensive, specialized knowledge of financing and obtaining funds – and subsequently accounting for them – for expanding medical services, purchasing and optimally using diagnostic equipment, and the possibilities of introducing publicly available preventive programs and examinations.”
