An unusual situation occurred on Friday, August 4, when the owner of a Peugeot decided to do some shopping at one of the supermarkets in Lwówek Śląski. She was astonished when she parked next to a vehicle of the same make and model that even had the same license plate numbers as her vehicle. The only difference between the two vehicles was their color. The woman immediately called the emergency number to report the incident.
In addition to Police officers, the owner of the other vehicle also arrived at the scene. He explained that he had brought his car from abroad and did not want to leave it without license plates in the parking lot, so he ordered collector's plates with a specific identifier online and installed them on his vehicle.
Lwówek police officers secured the collector's plates and are conducting an investigation into the matter.
We remind you that driving on public roads with collector's plates installed is punishable by arrest, restriction of liberty, or a fine of no less than PLN 1,500.
