Firefighter units from the State Fire Service District Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski and volunteer firefighters from Wleń were immediately dispatched to the scene. The firefighters arrived quickly. They managed to locate the site of the incident and help those affected.
The kayakers were pulled from the water. One of the children was injured and was treated by medics from the Jelenia Góra Emergency Medical Service.
