UKS Ilyo athlete, Krzysztof Jasiński, will compete at the European Olympic Taekwondo Championships, which begin tomorrow (September 9) in Ukraine. The Bolesławiec native will face Europe’s best athletes in the under-54 kg weight category.

Our athlete has undergone a demanding preparation period. Krzysztof spent the summer preparing for the championships. For two weeks, he participated, among other things, in a training camp of the Polish Taekwondo Olympic Association’s Youth Team, held in Korea.

Krzysztof Jasiński is taking part in the European Championships for the second time. Two years ago, he represented our country at the European Junior Championships in Telleborg, Sweden. This time, the athlete from the Ilyo Students’ Sports Club will compete in the 18–21 age category. Krzysztof’s trip to the European Championships is co-financed from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec.

UKS Ilyo Bolesławiec encourages people to train in Olympic Taekwondo. Details are available on the club’s website: www.tkd-ilyo.com
