As of September 1, Gimnazjum Samorządowe No. 1 will be located in the building of Primary School No. 1, on Jana Pawła II Street. The current lower secondary school building on Armii Krajowej Street does not meet safety standards.
The relocation of Lower Secondary School No. 1 has led to changes in the network of public municipal lower secondary schools. As a result, four school catchment areas have been established. Each lower secondary school forms a catchment area to which students from the town and surrounding localities have been assigned.
