As part of the “Safe in the Mountains” project carried out by the Karkonoski Sejmik of People with Disabilities and co-financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and Lower Silesia, a rental service for equipment and assistive devices for people with disabilities was opened at #NaPolanie on 19 July 2023.

We remind everyone who wants to visit Polana Jakuszycka that current conditions at Polana can be monitored using the camera installed on the roof of the Dolnośląskie Sports Centre.

The camera feed can be watched on the website polanajakuszycka.pl by clicking the camera symbol on the right-hand side of the screen or selecting the “live” option from the top menu. Below the camera view, there is also a reading from the air-quality sensor and atmospheric data.

#NaPolanie is a facility welcoming all mountain, sports and tourism enthusiasts. The Dolnośląskie Sports Centre is dedicated to athletes. The #NaPolanie facility meets the requirements of international federations, along with all the facilities necessary for professional training. A sports hall, gyms, training machines, biological regeneration services and a hypoxia system regulating the oxygen content in the room—everything can be found at #NaPolanie.

You can get to #NaPolanie in Jakuszyce by Koleje Dolnośląskie

Remember that you can transport skis free of charge on Koleje Dolnośląskie S.A. trains, under the same rules as other luggage. They should be placed on the luggage rack or, if that is not possible, kept beside you.

“When creating the DCS, we integrated the railway stop directly with the sports facility so that travel by Koleje Dolnośląskie would be as comfortable as possible for all visitors,” said Cezary Przybylski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

From 11 December 2022, trains at the Szklarska Poręba Jakuszyce stop will stop directly in front of the entrance to the Dolnośląskie Sports Centre Polana Jakuszycka.
