Jelenia Góra police on the accident:
On 12 July 2023, at approximately 4:50 p.m., an accident occurred on the county road between Jelenia Góra and Rybnica, in which a motorcyclist died.
Preliminary findings indicate that the 31-year-old motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle after failing to adjust his speed to the road conditions and, while exiting a bend, collided head-on with a correctly travelling Peugeot delivery vehicle.
Despite resuscitation efforts, the man died at the scene. The body was secured for an autopsy. Police officers are currently investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident.

At approximately 4:55 p.m., a collision occurred between a Peugeot driven by a 36-year-old man and a scooter ridden by a 31-year-old man. Despite resuscitation attempts, the scooter rider died at the scene.
Police and the prosecutor’s office are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
