– From 1 July 2023 there will be no need to pay for travelling in a light vehicle on motorways managed by the General Director for National Roads and Motorways, namely the A2 Konin–Stryków and A4 Wrocław–Sośnica – reports Agnieszka Rzeźnicka-Gniadek, press spokesperson for the Lower Silesian KAS.
And she clarifies:
The toll exemption applies to users of passenger cars, motorcycles and vehicle combinations with a permissible total weight not exceeding 3.5 tonnes.
And explains:
President Andrzej Duda signed on 23 June 2023 the Act of 26 May 2023 amending the Act on Toll Motorways and the National Road Fund and certain other acts. It provides for the complete discontinuation of toll collection for light vehicles travelling on motorway sections managed by GDDKiA. The changes will enter into force on 1 July 2023.
