On Tuesday, 20 June, on national road no. 94 in Godzieszów, inspectors from the Jelenia Góra branch of the Lower Silesian Road Transport Inspection stopped a heavy goods vehicle belonging to an entrepreneur from Germany for a routine inspection.

The Voivodeship Road Transport Inspection in Wrocław:

During the inspection, the inspectors smelled alcohol and noticed the driver’s unusual behaviour. He had difficulty finding the required documents. The driver blew 1.14 mg/l of alcohol into the inspectors’ breathalyser—more than 2 per mille.

The inspectors add: “Driving a vehicle while intoxicated is a criminal offence.”

The police are conducting further proceedings in the case.
