The incident occurred on Sunday, June 18. As the Reader informed us:
At 10 p.m., a man (…) was shooting (with an air rifle – editor’s note: istotne.pl) at signs, aiming at people, and smashed a window in my car.
To put it mildly, the Reader was not satisfied with the police intervention:
(...) they did not question [him], did nothing; they recorded the statement and left. My car is damaged, while the man is unpunished.
The Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters only informs us:
Activities in this case are ongoing.
This type of offense may carry a sentence of between three months and as many as five years in prison.
