Our Reader asked us to publicize the matter after noticing a hole in a manhole cover on the pavement on Dolne Młyny Street in Bolesławiec (opposite the PKS bus station). “Is the owner waiting for an accident?” the woman asks indignantly. “All it takes is for a child to run here or an elderly person with a cane to walk by. An accident is all too easy.”

We notified Roman Palczewski, head of the District Roads Authority. He promised that the DRA would address the matter. “In such situations, we try to respond immediately,” Palczewski assured us.
