The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 24, before 11:00 a.m., on Jeleniogórska Street in Bolesławiec, near Leśny Potok. Two cars—a Fiat and a Volkswagen—collided there. Initial information indicated that one person was injured and taken to hospital.
Update 1:15 p.m.
Officers determined that the 23-year-old Volkswagen driver, a resident of Bolesławiec County, suffered an epileptic seizure, as a result of which he veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with the Fiat.
Fortunately, no one suffered more serious injuries. The case will be decided in court.
